Imaging terminology can be confusing. To be able to
just look it up once.
I was once looking for this very same information...
...and was welcomed with a rapid accumulation of terminology as I researched numerous resources. I
found that imaging terminology is used in a variety of fields to express similar concepts. To prevent misunderstandings
it is essential to clarify concepts and establish definitions. This glossary contains definitions that are rigorous,
uncomplicated and hopefully easily understood.
This book does not replace your user manual for your software. This
glossary does not contain software related terminology. This is good as it simplifies things into two distinct categories:
your manuals and this glossary.
I highly suggest that it be read like a novel, cover to cover. Linear enjoyment!
